Someday

Since I've been twenty, I've been having this sort of "quarter life crisis"; feeling overwhelmingly like time is running out and I need to hurry and do all of the things I want to do in my life before I get married. At some point I'd also like to find someone I'm madly in love with to marry (which will be the greatest adventure of all!). But thinking of all that I want to do in life can get a little stressful. I have to remind myself that things will unfold as they should and that I'm really not that old. In fact, I'm pretty young.

 Here's a quote that I found on Pinterest that always gives me a little motivational boost, to make the most of life! "We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open."

Below I'm going to state all of the goals, dreams, and adventures I'd like to accomplish in my life, but FIRST, I want to share an even more inspiring and important quote than the one I shared above. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it states, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understand. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." I may desperately want to do all of these things below, but they may not be in accordance with what the Lord wants for me. I'll have to pray, and keep my heart and eyes open for any other road I should be going down (and no, I'm not specifically talking about marriage haha-it could be anything-oh, isn't life exciting?!)

Onto the list! (You know that feeling of satisfaction you get when you write a "to-do" list and you write things you've already done so that you can cross them right off? I'm about to be doing a lot of that...for my own satisfaction.)

Adventure list:
Graduate from BYU-Idaho (I've completed 5 semesters at BYU-Idaho so far)
Work at Chick-Fil-A (I know this sounds like a low class goal, but it was something I really wanted to do!)
Be an EFY counselor
Travel to Europe through a study abroad program
Work at a family camp/ranch
Do my internship somewhere I really like, where I can have my own small apartment or at least own room and be paid for the internship
Get into the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Degree program at BYU/any other school I see fit



That is all I have, so far, but more will soon be added, I'm sure!
